IT PROJECT SUCCESS SURVEY

Hi everyone, As introduced in the February newsletter, Dr. Starkweather and I are interested in your opinions as to which factors are most important to IT project success.  We have grouped the factors into the following categories:  project, PM/team, communication, organizational and user/stakeholders.  The research project seeks to aggregate 25 years of research on this topic to get a clear vision of where we stand today.  We would very much appreciate your participation. Survey: …See More

Hello Deborah,

Delighted to see your interest in helping to Admin asapm!

http://ipmacod.ning.com/group/asapm

I'm tackling head-on now the task of assisting group leaders.  I've created a special Admin Group to serve all of us who has expressed a desire -- like yourself! -- to serve as an Admin for one or more Groups.  Joining this Admin Group gives you access to the group's experiences and to my own.  In fact, your participation in this Admin Group will very nicely model activities you can implement in your own Group. Learning by doing.

  • Make sure you are logged in to http://ipmacod.ning.com
  • Click on http://ipmacod.ning.com/group/groupcoordinators
  • Join this new group.  I will be notified automatically.  I will confirm.
  • Get in touch with Stacy Goff, Creator of the asapm group, and determine together what you can offer.
  • Scroll down to the COMMENT WALL  on the Admin Group and in 2-3 sentences describe what you aspire to do inside asapm. This form of communication will soon become second nature to all of us.
  • You will be promoted to Admin in your group as soon as I see you join the Admins Group.
  • Consider who in addition to yourself would find it rewarding to serve with you.

Let me know when you have questions.

Welcome to the IPMA Family, Deborah.

We're delighted to see you here!  You've been quite active.  I wish others were as curious as you! :)

Let me encourage you to invite your other members from asapm. Make sure you are logged in and then click on asapm: IPMA-USA.  Let me know if you would like to serve as an Admin, or you know somebody who would like to serve as an Admin, to assist in the building of the bridge between the asapm and the IPMA.

Here's our Quick Start Guide. Contact me if you have additional suggestions you consider particularly relevant to newcomers of the Family website.

Here is the link to upload your photo -- Let me know if you have a photo that can use some photoshopping. I'll be glad to assist.

Hope your 2011 is going well.
