Linkedin on the Internet  -- An Overview

Comment by Stacy Goff on March 20, 2011 at 11:35am

Hi Les,
I am a bit confused; from the link on Luciano's IPMAFamily page, SHRI appears to be a site for International Professional Managers Association. However, related to the urge to merge, we (IPMA) are in the process of bringing together the "official" IPMA Linked in group, the one with 142 members, with the other IPMA group, run by Marek, that contains over 1800 members.

Luciano has raised the question of consolidating two Linkedin sites -- the first with 142 members and  the second devoted to the future of SHRI.

Question from Luciano: Aren´te we unifying these communication?
Question from Les Squires: Who would like to help consolidate these two Linkedin groups? Use this COMMENT WALL to respond.

Well, the group seems to be owned by Marek Pospíšil, from Czech Republic. Does anybody know him? Some people here are in that group, maybe something could be posted there, or we could send him a message on LinkedIn. I think it doesn't benefit anybody if there's two IPMA groups!

BTW... I'm almost sure we're speaking about the same one. Otherwise, there's three of them :-D

Daniel, both of your comments are actionable; Les or I will add the YC group, and, Veikko has attempted to act to "bring in from the cold" the IPMA group with the old logo; we do not control that group. The group with the correct logo was done by Veikko, and should be the top link in the list above--unless you are speaking of a different one.
--Thanks! Stacy

By the way, there's two (or more) IPMA "official" LinkedIn groups, it seems. One has over 1000 members (and the old logo) and another one seems to have the new corporate image , but has many less members. Both have some known names... do we know anything about this?

Hi Les, and hi everybody!

Shouldn't we add the Young Crew official LinkedIn group? I'm in there, and it's here:

Please take a moment the next time you visit your favorite Linkedin groups to PASTE the URL of that group (or groups) into the COMMENT WALL. Notice that Trevor from asapm did this and now the asapm Linkedin group now appears above in the FEATURED SITES.
