The WORKSHOP

Work 2.0 - Design Thinking Workshop - is a one-day workshop sponsored by the Young Crew Portugal / APOGEP - Portuguese Association for Project Management and Dark Horse GmbH Acting as a promoter of interdisciplinary and collaborative work among different professionals and companies, this workshop aims ability to promote communication and collaboration of the participants, providing the most important skills for contemporary leadership for innovation and business development.

 

Centered on the theme "new concepts of work" participants assume a specific challenge and - assisted by coaches - acquire a deeper understanding and full context of the problem. Along with other team members, develop an understanding and common language that will allow them to reveal their creative potential and experience the power of collaborative innovation. 

 

During the workshop teams develop specific and tangible solutions to the challenge posed. The iterative process and prototype development tangible allow immediate feedback of potential barriers and critical success factors in order to refine the solution and minimize the risks.

 

All participants will be involved in finding solutions, contributing their own experiences and opinions.Discover and integrate new and even opposing perspectives and overcoming obstacles is what makes true innovators and entrepreneurs to succeed.  

 

WHY DESIGN THINKING?

Manage complexity.

 

Managing projects is complex since it involves various stakeholders with the understanding and ability to adapt to changing conditions.

 

Design Thinking is a process of innovation to solve complex problems with a human-centered perspective. But more than that is a culture. A work culture that allows and promotes the co-creation, which encourages interdisciplinary work equip, which values different opinions, and even opposite, and that uses apparent obstacles as challenges motivating.

 

When:  March 2, 2012

Where: Headquarters APOGEP - Rua Conde Redondo N º 8-6 º Dt º. 1150-105 Lisboa

Who can attend:  professionals from various fields (project management, marketing, administration, finance, human resources, management of innovation, among others)

Duration:  8 hours (9h30 - 17h30)

Capacity:  15 participants (divided into 3 teams)

Language:  English and Portuguese

Portugal Young Crew  is a group of young students and professionals in integrated APOGEP - Portuguese Association for Project Management and IPMA - International Project Management Association. We have less than 35 years of age, and are involved in organizing and managing projects to gain experience and contacts.

James Nunes  is formed in Equipment Design (FBAUL) and has postgraduate studies in Strategic Design and Innovation (ISEG) and Design Thinking (HPI - School of Design Thinking, Germany).  worked as product designer for the strategic development Susdesign Corque and implementation of the brand worldwide. 
Currently he works as a consultant on projects aimed at innovation and recently piloted a project in an interdisciplinary team, developing new concepts for future innovation center company SAP AG - the world leader in management software - in Potsdam, Germany. It is also a member of management and responsible for planning events of the Young Crew Portugal.


Dark Horse 
 is an innovation consultancy based in Berlin. We believe that innovation means to cross boundaries and find new ways of thinking every day. 30 co-founders of 25 different disciplines that are free to spend 50% of their time working on their own projects, are creating a unique company with a unique work culture in order to provide unique solutions.  


Sascha Wolff
  studied in Berlin, Potsdam and Bordeaux and a BA in political science, philosophy, environmental education and design thinking. 

It is co-founder of innovation consultancy based in Berlin, Dark Horse GmbH and has been lecturer of design thinking in the HPI School of Design Thinking and Leuphana University Lüneburg.

This event relates to the broad scope of the Week Project Manager of APOGEP 2011 - "Projects and Sustainability in the XXI Century", a major theme today.

The concept PM4ALL seeks to promote the discipline of Project Management, with young students and professionals from various fields.

Likewise, the workshop aims to strengthen the presence and accessibility of project management expertise to various professional areas, including areas "unexpected" as fields of social intervention, social entrepreneurship, etc..

Nordic Championship in Project Management 2011!

The final round of the Nordic Championship in Project Management 2011 took place on the 23-24th of November in Gothenburg, Sweden. Teams from Sweden (Linköping University), Denmark (University of Southern Denmark) and Finland (University of Vaasa) competed for the title "Nordic Champion in Project Management 2011".

I am proud to announce that this years Nordic Champion in Project Management 2011 winner is coming from Finland! Congratulations to the winner team: Hugi Chasot, Mariah Ni and Elena Sapegina
